    🍷YEAR 5🍷Vino & I.AM.DIVINO.🍷As part of my recovery plan I decided to take more classes on random things I love, like wine. I wrote my thesis @princeton_university on the wine industries, so I upped the study & started leading more Wine Tastings & Food pairings- I.AM.DIVINO. - myself at the Studio, some even with wine buffs flown in from Spain. This is a picture of my favorite one. Yes, I hand packed and labeled the almonds myself, and designed the placemats and the tasting cards. I like the creative! Especially when it is about taking others On a journey, which is exactly what #RETOX is. (at I.AM.YOU. Studio)

    ⛈YEAR 4⛈B-Chy Burn Out. 2013. At this point I was teaching 30 classes a week, had cleaned over 15,000 mats on my hands & knees, was doing ALL of my studio management, PR, bookkeeping, content creation, web management, oh and TEACHING, learning and breathing on my own. And it was WAY TOO MUCH. But the new website and app had put me in an economic pinch and I had to work my way out of it (not call my parents or, yes, the still boyfriend) for 💰. So I worked and I worked and I worked, first class at 5am, last class ending at 830pm (pre clean up) 5 days a week with just 2 classes on Saturday. I ultimately had a melt down over a beer (another story in my book, RETOX) and began the process of scaling back but did make all the economics work all on my own which I am incredibly proud of. There is a romanticism to working in wellness/yoga/entrepreneurship which is sort of BS if you actually have to make ends meet. I pushed through but learned that when overworked I am no where near my best self, for me or anyone, but no one can take doing it on your own and fighting through the tough times away from you #RETOX #laurenimparato #wallstreettowellness (at New York, New York)

    This is the circle in which I operate. Within it lies the core of who I am, my ethics, values, integrity and what I believe in. And around it, keeping it together like a coral is a ring of truth and knowledge, bliss and wisdom, or as the ancient saying goes in yoga, Satya Jnamam Anandam Brahma.     Eating for my Adrenals+Spleen in Week2 of #RETOX Immune Boost Month. -Warm a pan with olive oil -Add 2-3 fistfuls of baby spinach & stir -Add thinly sliced yellow squash -When veggies soft add 1 full egg+2 egg whites -Stir & let cook all the way through -Serve w/ ¼ of a salted avocado Enjoy the spinach, squash & yolks for your spleen, salt for your adrenals, avocado for your essential fatty acids & California love.
